An extreme sports website (stab.com) requires a fresh, yet authentic direction for their expansion into print publications.

Solution

Slash magazine is aimed to appeal to female skateboarders as their participation in the sport continues to grow and new boundaries are broken. It features articles around their struggle to gain the recognition they deserve and is inspired by the DIY, cut and paste aesthetic of early skate zines that are firmly rooted in the culture..
